Oktoberfest is Emmanuel’s annual extravaganza of German food, beer, and of course, an Oompah band! This year’s main dish is Tafelspitz, which is a simmered beef brisket with a horseradish cream sauce. Let's not forget the traditional fare, which includes a trio of Bavaria’s sausages, spätzle, red cabbage, sauerkraut, potato puree, mixed vegetables and apple strudel. My mouth is watering already!
Prices are $45 per person and children 12 and under are free. Tickets can be bought on September 25 and October 2 between services and after the late service. If you're paying by check, please make it out to "Emmanuel Lutheran." Don't delay, as all reservations or cancellations are due by October 3.
